ELEGOO Neptune 4 Max FDM 3D Printer

The ELEGOO Neptune 4 Max is a large-format FDM printer built for users who need both scale and speed in a single machine. With a 420 × 420 × 480 mm build volume, it opens up full-scale architectural models, large functional parts, and multi-object batch runs that smaller desktop printers simply can't accommodate. Pre-installed Klipper firmware on an ARM 64-bit 1.5 GHz quad-core processor delivers a standard print speed of 250 mm/s with a maximum of 500 mm/s and an acceleration of 8,000 mm/s², with input shaping and pressure advance active for clean output at velocity.

Acceleration sensors on both the X and Y axes enable automatic calibration and real-time vibration compensation without manual tuning. The direct dual-gear extruder with a 5.2:1 gear ratio provides strong, consistent extrusion grip across the full material range, and the high-temp nozzle kit handles temperatures up to 300 °C via a 60-watt heating element with a brass heating block. A titanium alloy heatbreak minimises clogging risk, and automatic PID calibration of nozzle parameters maintains stable, precise temperature control throughout extended print runs.

Five fans handle cooling at up to 9,600 rpm: two 4015 ball bearing fans, one 3010 ball bearing fan, and two 6025 ball bearing fans deliver comprehensive heat dissipation across the full build area. Robust POM V guide wheels, a double Y-axis profile, and dual rows of 3+3V wheels on the Y-axis provide the structural stability needed for accurate large-format output. Connectivity via LAN, USB, and Wi-Fi with GCode support makes the Neptune 4 Max suited to both network-integrated studio workflows and standalone operation.
