The Bambu Lab P2S is a high-speed enclosed FDM printer that advances Bambu Lab's desktop lineup with adaptive airflow, AI error detection, and a PMSM servo extruder built for consistent high-throughput performance. The 256 × 256 × 256 mm³ build volume sits inside a plastic-and-glass enclosure with an adaptive airflow system that switches between external cold-air intake for superior part cooling and sealed heat-preserving circulation for stable 50 °C chamber conditions — giving a single machine the flexibility to handle PLA and engineering-grade composites in the same session.

The DynaSense PMSM servo extruder delivers up to 8.5 kg of extrusion force, sampling resistance and position at 20 kHz for real-time clog and grinding detection. Onboard AI monitoring with a 2 TOPS NPU catches spaghetti, nozzle blobbing, and print start errors before they escalate into failed prints. The hardened steel quick-swap hotend changes in approximately 30 seconds with a single clip release, and a built-in filament cutter streamlines multi-material workflows when paired with the optional AMS 2 Pro. Tool head speed reaches 600 mm/s with a maximum acceleration of 20,000 mm/s².

A 5-inch touchscreen with Bambu Lab's second-generation UI provides full on-device control, while a 1080p 30 fps HD camera with enhanced LED stage lighting enables crisp live view and timelapse recording over dual-band Wi-Fi. Three closed-loop fans — part cooling, hotend, and auxiliary — maintain consistent thermal conditions throughout extended runs, and a granulated coconut shell activated carbon filter handles both VOC and particulate matter from engineering filament sessions. The P2S supports the full spectrum from flexible TPU to carbon fibre composites including PLA-CF, PETG-CF, PA6-CF, and PAHT-CF.
