Astra Nebula 100 35mm Black and White Reversal Film 36 Exp

Astra Nebula 100 is a panchromatic, black-and-white reversal 35mm film rated at ISO 100. Built for bright, controlled-light shooting - daylight outdoors, golden hour, and studio setups.

Respooled from Fomapan Foma R, it produces rich, high-contrast monochrome with deep blacks, luminous highlights, and a refined grain. After processing you get actual positive transparencies on film - ready to project or scan as-is. Best for landscapes, architecture, travel, golden-hour portraits, and projection work.

Processing & Scanning at Astra

If you've selected the Film Roll + Develop and Scan bundle; send your exposed roll back to Astra HQ in Mumbai once you've finished shooting (address will be provided post-purchase). We develop the film using the proprietary FOMA R Developer Kit and scan the film in-house.

If you'd rather process the film yourself, choose Film Only at checkout. Be aware that B&W reversal requires a specialised chemistry kit - most Indian labs can only handle standard B&W negative development.

Choosing Your Canister

Nebula 100 is available in both DX-coded and Non DX-coded canisters. The DX code is the silver-and-black pattern printed on the canister that tells your camera the film's ISO.

Pick DX-coded if you shoot a point-and-shoot or any auto-exposure camera — your camera will read the code and set exposure to ISO 100 automatically. Just load and shoot. 

Pick Non DX-coded if you shoot a fully manual camera, set ISO by hand, or want to push or pull the film for a different look.
