35mm Film Scanning

Astra Darkroom's 35mm scanning service uses a dedicated camera scan rig to extract the full resolution and tonal range from your negatives.

 Each roll is cleaned, mounted, and scanned frame by frame, then exported as both a high-resolution TIFF and a web-ready JPEG.

You get the archive file and the shareable file, in one.

— Format: 35mm (up to 36 exposures per roll) 

— Method: Camera Scan — Output: TIFF (full resolution) + JPEG (web-optimised)

— Colour types: B&W, C-41, E-6 

— Delivered via Google Drive download link 

Scans are typically returned within 1-2 business days from receipt of film.
